[In the late morning, Sebastian Moran opens up his Journal. Today, he just writes in it. Easier than switching between writing and talking right now.]

I don't mean to be a bother, but I did have a question for all you fine folks.

See, I've been craving a little taste of home, and today seems as good a day as any. I know what I need, but I admit I don't know quite what your shops around here carry.

I've got a list, though, and I'd be much obliged if anyone could tell me what you know the shops don't carry.

I can't vouch that it tastes precisely as it ought to, Sergeant Donovan, but I do a passing imitation, I'd say.

I don't know if we actually have all that stuff here, but I'll find a way to get it all for you if you give me some.

[She's kind of joking and kind of not. This woman has had a serious jones for a curry for like, three months.]

Of course, for Moran, this is an appealing situation. All the more ways to get in good with a member of Scotland Yard. Never hurts to have friends in good places.]

Any particular time you'd care to eat?

Mm I'm not sure the shops have Fenugreek or Coriander. But there are people here who grow things from time to time. I-I'm sure they could, ah, help perhaps. [ And then a pause as he considers home. ]

You...wouldn't happen to be from India, would you? If-if you don't mind my asking.

Don' think there's coriander? Now, that'd be a shame. Can' make anythin' proper without it.

An' no, not from India. Spent most of m' life there, though. Plan t' go back, once I get home an' settle a bit of business.

The shops always change what they have in stock so, it might be there when you least expect it to. I-I'm not sure many people use it s-so you could probably get some. [ He hasn't seen it then again it's been awhile since he's made a dish with it. There's a smile in his voice when Moran replies. ]

It's a lovely country. I don't blame you for wanting to go back. A rich culture too. [ Helios won't pry about the business though. It wasn't his place to ask such things after all. ]

Hey...High quality steaks and a bit of top notch grilling? You don't need to get all...fancy...to get a good meal.

That's what takeout is for. Gotta say, they managed pretty decent Chinese. Bet they could handle Indian well enough.
